To avoid this it is important that keep your kitchen area clean and dirt free environment. Don’t keep garbage or left over food in your kitchen area such that it may contaminate your food, wash your dishes, spoons, bowls and sinks properly and frequently whenever you are using them.
Preserve your food neat in the cool area such as in the refrigerator and do not put hot food immediately in the refrigerator let it cool down first. Leftover food can be stored in refrigerator, but keeping it for two or three days may contaminate and bacteria or fungus may form on the food. Refrigerating some amount of left over food does not contaminate or become unhygienic.

4. Cook food carefully

Cooking food carefully is very important so as to kill off germs and bacteria from the food. Food such as meat, fish, seafood, poultry and eggs are the best places were bacteria and germs thrive. For killing these germs and bacteria the best way cook the food on extreme heat such that it will destroy most of the germs from your food. Meat, beef and pork food is well cooked upto 160 degree, meat at 165 degree, chicken at 180 degree. Most foods are cooked at different temperatures to kill off the most germs and bacteria residing on it. Color is important in this situation it notifies whether the food is cooked or not.

5. Left over food

Keeping the left over food in the oven for some minute and then taken to eat. This does not allow the food to come under 140 degrees, heating the food again and again and placing it again in the refrigerator and reheating it again increases the chances of acquiring some illness in the food and that can be injuries to health.

Using these tips daily will keep your kitchen and food away from the unhygienic, germs and fungus that reside on them. Cooking the food to its desired temperatures will keep your food safe from germs and bacteria. Moreover, considering the food adage and looking whether it is contaminated or smells bad throw it out.
